The fellowship had made their way to the end of The Great River, where they had to choose to get east-ward or west. Frodo decided he needed time to choose to go east or west, so he went on a hike to explore. Boromir had found him sitting down and emotional about why he had to destroy the Ring.
I walked up to Frodo questioning what he was thinking. Aragorn told me that Frodo needed time to choose going east or west. I was trying to convince Frodo to use the Ring against Sauron and his army. Frodo shouted, “We can not use the ring, it’s too dangerous!” A darkness was overcoming me I felt weird and was hearing voices in my head. Something was saying “You shall get the Ring NOW!” Frodo and I got into an argument about passing the Ring onto me. Frodo’s emotions seemed as though he was scared and worried, as I slowly walked over to him. “GO! GO AWAY!” screamed Frodo. I leaped towards him hoping to get the Ring. We were both hanging over the edge of a cliff, looking over the Great River. Frodo kept on resisting, as I tried taking to Ring. I shouted, “Frodo give me the Ring now!” he responded, “GET OFF OF ME!” Frodo had wedged a bag in between him and me and tried to slip on the Ring. I slapped his hand, it fell off the edge of the cliff. Time seemed to stop as we both saw it falling about the hit the surface of the Great River. “ Boromir! Frodo and Aragorn shouted” “What are you doing!” Aragorn screamed. All I saw was Aragorn pulling out his sword and impaling me straight through the chest. “Why? Aragorn, why!” I cried. The darkness started to fade, as I got super tired and my chest aching in pain.
“I have been stalking the fellowship since the Mines of Moria,” I said to myself. I finally found the Ring on my journey, after being tortured by Saruman and controlled by Sauron’s eye. It is now time for me to head south and return the Ring to Mordor. Sauron’s eye was talking to me as I made way east across the Great River. “Good job Smeagol, you now may return the Ring and be rewarded as I told you before.
