First Day at Blyth

Writer's picture: Reid MontgomeryReid Montgomery

Today was my first day of school at my new school called Blyth although it felt as though it was the last day. I left my house at 7:50 am but it was 7:50 pm and while I was walking into the building as I opened the door I realized the walls were red but they are supposed to be blue. A teacher Mr.M had said, “ Hi, how are you?” I had then said “BYE!” as I was nervous, I had run as if I was the fastest man alive. I thought my classes had been Geography than French but Today I had gone to Business than English. While I was talking to my friend Owen had said “Mr.Cohen the English teacher is a really hard marker!” although everyone in my class had gotten 100% on the test he had given us! When English had finished I had hopped on the shuttle bus to get to hockey practice. The gym was usually after hockey but today I had had it first and once I was on the ice I had lots of energy I said to myself “This is very weird”. When I was picked up from the hockey rink I thought to myself and told my mom “Today was a very weird and felt like a backwards day” she said “My day had felt normal” I responded with “Ok”.
