My Grade 11 English Journey

Writer's picture: Reid MontgomeryReid Montgomery

Throughout this course, I've found new skills to utilize and spent time developing the skills I already hold. Some of these skills include utilizing proper grammar, language features such as similes and metaphors, and structural methods like foreshadowing. In my eyes, the most important skill that I have learned and developed is foreshadowing since I can now watch movies and read novels without trying to identify foreshadowing as it now naturally comes to me.

The tasks that I am most proud of consist of my Hamlet Madness Essay, Shakespeare Anecdotal Writing, Two Poem Comparing, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas Constructing Identity, and finally, LOTR: Trilogy Review.

I am proud of each of these since they are my best-produced writing tasks throughout the year. This is due to improving my knowledge on allowing my writing to flow and making connections between events.
